Native History & Area Two Creeks Ranch, named after the Sabino and Bear creeks, sits on part of the Sabino Canyon area. This area has a rich history going back thousands of years. Where these two creeks on our property converge, there is the Sabino Canyon Indian Ruin Area, the ancient site of a Hohokam village. These ruins have been excavated and surveyed over the last century. It is estimated that the Hohokam lived here around A.D. 1000 to 1100. With so much history here, a guest is sure to discover something to remember. Allen Dart of the Old Pueblo Archaeology Center wrote an execellent article about these ruins.
